And They Called it Puppy Love

So it's no secret I've been playing SoulSilver like mad - I'm already in Kanto - and I've been naming all of my Pokemon after original characters or more obscure manga/anime/game characters.

My two favorites at the moment are Johnny and Sai, my Arcanine and Houndoom, respectively. Johnny is my character and Sai is 's but when I asked her "What Pokemon would Sai be?" she said Houndoom so that's what I named my Houndour.

I've been training these two at the same time, had them evolve at the same level, and always keep them together in my party because they love each other so much.

Then I got the inspiration to draw them lying down together in a cute pose. Sai wears a scarf in real life so that's why that's in there. As for Johnny, he doesn't look all that distinct... if his head were looking the other way I would have colored his right eye green.

In nay case, I'm proud of this because I learned I CAN draw animals and I'm also pretty proud of the coloring job I did - I'm on a big copic kick again so you'll hopefully see more traditional art from me.
