Pokemon Trainer Meme: Danny

Sort of copying the way ~RikoJasmine does hers because it works!

Backstory

Danny lives in Castelia City with his mother and younger sisters - who are twins. They live in an apartment building with a view of the city. Danny has a small garden on the balcony. He enjoys gardening, sewing, and singing.

He frequents the areas between Nimbasa and Nacrene City, making trips to Nacrene to buy fabric and to Nimbasa for the Pokemon Musical. In the beginning, because he didn't have any Pokemon of his own, he would try to sell the accessories he makes, occasionally giving them to Musical participants he admires.

His first Pokemon was a Sewaddle, which he caught after chasing it all over Pinwheel Forest when it ran off with a piece of fabric he'd bought in Nacrene. After retrieving his fabric he thought it was so adorable that he had to catch it, but he didn't have any Pokeballs. Making a dash back to Nacrene in the hopes that it would still be there when he got back, he realized that the Sewaddle was following him because it liked his fabric. He successfully caught her and named her Purl after the knitting term.

After catching Sewaddle, Danny decided that he wanted to catch his own Pokemon to use in Pokemon Musicals. He also really liked the feeling of catching one and wanted the adventure of being able to see so many other Pokemon. Danny doesn't know the first thing about battling, so his Pokemon are all still unevolved (he's afraid to even battle them because he doesn't want them to get hurt due to his inexperience). He has an interest in breeding, though, so he wants to find someone to help him learn how to train them properly.

Design

Danny's favorite color is green, and he dresses snappy even though he dresses in muted colors. He has an XTransceiver on his left arm and a wristband on his right. The goggles on his hat are actually for a practical purpose. Because he crosses the desert that is Route 4 so often to get to Nimbasa, he uses them to keep the sand out of his face. He has a single-strap backpack that is usually packed with snacks, fabrics, berries and a watering can among other things.

He has green eyes and strawberry blonde hair and is the only person in his family to have blonde hair - his mother's a brunette and his father was a redhead. His sisters often tease him about being adopted for this reason.

Pokemon Team

Sewaddle/Purl - She has a great interest in fabric and yarn and seems partial to pink. She is very affectionate toward Danny because he makes her clothing and accessories, which reminds her of her mother Leavanny. Purl will be the first of Danny's Pokemon to evolve, but as of yet she is still a Sewaddle.

Sandile/Stevie - named after a famous blind singer, Stevie the Sandile acts like a cat. He doesn't particularly care for the accessories Danny makes him, but begrudgingly puts up with it. He also sleeps a lot, curling up in a ball. He's the most intelligent Pokemon on Danny's team and while he may not show it often he also has a lot of respect and affection for Danny.

Emolga/Rocky - Obviousy named after the famous cartoon squirrel, Rocky is much more enthusiastic about wearing the things Danny makes than the other male on the team. He's a bit of a showoff and loves when girls think he's cute. He also often tries to play matchmaker with Danny and the ladies, but his plans usually backfire.

Ducklett/Luci - As of yet Danny has not caught this diva of a Ducklett - not to mention a shiny Ducklett - but he will. Luci is definitely a prima donna and while she adores Danny's fashions, she and he butt heads quite often because she is not very cooperative, only doing what she wants to do.

Cubchoo/Pipsqueak - As of yet, Danny has not caught this abandoned Cubchoo. He finds it well outside its normal home in Twist Mountain in bad shape, and nurses it back to health. While his original plan is to release it to its parents, the two get very attached to each other and Pipsqueak starts to see Danny as his "daddy" and clings to him. Despite being a species that lives in cold temperatures, Pipsqueak prefers warmer areas, which explains why he had strayed so far from home in the first place.

Minccino/Almond- When Danny catches her she will become the glue that holds his team together. She is an encouraging peacekeeper, always breaking up fights among the other Pokemon. She also occasionally flirts with Rocky - in her own shy manner - as the two of them are both rodent Pokemon.

~Velvet-Universe and I are planning on doing an rp with Danny and Kezia - her character - eventually, so the other Pokemon on Danny's team will probably be dictated by what happens in that. I'm trying to give him a balanced team of mostly Musical-worthy Pokemon. We've also decided that our characters will be allowed 8 Pokemon instead of 6 to allow for more variety.
