Description
Scabere (pronounced like scab-air or scuh-bear, either is acceptable) is one of Nightmare's minions in my Dream Legends story. Since Nightmare and company are just that, manifestations of bad dreams, they are technically genderless. However, each one appears to have one gender or another. Scabere is a bit odd because she appears boyish, but is identified and identifies as female. (I think trying to explain it is just more confusing)
Each member of Nightmare's team is a counterpart to the original eight hero characters, and Scabere is the counterpart to Chris. Scabere's name is a variation of the Latin word for scratch or scrape. Her name is intended to not exactly fit her. She is narcoleptic and spends most of her time sleeping. She is also psychic, so while she sleeps, she levitates and is surrounded by a very faint forcefield aura. While she has a generally sweet disposition, when threatened or startled her psychic powers act on their own and manifest themselves in the form of black flames that sear and cut anyone around her.
Scabere is probably the least "evil" of the Nightmare-an characters, but her powers and her inability to control them make her a dangerous threat. She is the most likely to surrender to the heroes and become friends with them, although whether that will actually happen remains to be seen.

Weight: 115 lbs.
What "her" voice sounds like in my head: young, androgynous, monotone, usually groggy. If she's awake, she sounds much more like a girl
Until now I'd never colored her, so I just sort of winged her color scheme. Decided to go with a sort of fall colors approach. Also really wanted to try a kind of bubble eye thing because I imagine her having really watery-shiny eyes when they're open, all full of wonder and curiosity. So that's why they look crazy and are probably one of the few things I'm going to shade for my big oc project. Another fun fact: her hair is actually like back-length, but it's all pulled up under her hat (sorta like Noel from BlazBlue, but I made her up before the game came out)
