Yes, it just so happens I can sew, too!

So a few weeks back the lovely gave me the dolls she'd made me as a Christmas present - my characters Drin and Poe!

and I decided we wanted to try our hand at making our own in the Dolls'n'Bombs style, and since we're on a bit of a Yu-Gi-Oh! kick (well, at least I am, but it was her idea) we decided to make these guys.

The dolls are made entirely out of felt and embroidery thread with buttons for eyes and they're stuffed with polyfill polyester stuffing. Trying to find the right color of felt for Weevil's hair was a pain - I went to four different stores before finally settling on that because I knew it was the closest I was probably gonna get.

Fun fact: Rex has a bald spot underneath his hat, which keeps falling off. Gonna have to stitch that on later.

The duffel bag... was 's idea, but crafted entirely by me! In episode 148: The Creator Returns
(Season 4, Waking the Dragons arc) - _{I feel like such a dork for knowing this, but I had to go back and watch it again to reference it} - these two stuff themselves into a duffel bag for the purposes of following Yugi and his friends to San Francisco to meet Pegasus. It's great and hilarious and even though we made them in their Duelist Kingdom outfits it was a brilliant idea. So I went back and rewatched the episode and paused on a shot of the bag so I could make it accurate because I just felt like it.

It's made primarily of felt with a 9" zipper on the top, and the handles are made of belt material *don't know what it's called* with felt wrapped around for the brown parts. I'm considering adding more little details to it with embroidery thread just to make it that more ridiculous and accurate, because it really wouldn't take that long.

So anyway, there you have it~! We may/may not make anymore dolls, but we're not taking commissions. I made these based on a good friend's designs and I don't want to cut into her business. I may consider making them as gifts for good friends, but they're not nor will they be for sale. If you want to buy dolls like this I'll refer you to and 's Dolls'n'Bombs shop.
